Tunbridge Wells: Crash on Sandhurst Road

A car burst into flames following a collision with another vehicle in Tunbridge Wells.

Emergency crews were called to Sandhurst Road and firefighters needed to wear breathing apparatus as they battled to extinguish the fire.

A woman was treated by ambulance staff at the scene but no serious injuries were reported.

It happened at around 2.30pm and two fire engines went to the scene.

The road was closed in both directions until approximately 3.25pm.
