St. Lawrence Tandoori in Ramsgate announces sudden closure

An Indian restaurant which serves the “best curry in Thanet” has announced it is shutting.

St Lawrence Tandoori in Ramsgate will shut its doors for the final time today after confirming the sudden closure on Facebook last night.

In the post, bosses said: “Dear all customers, we would like to announce we are sadly closing down. August 28 is our last day.

“All alcoholic drinks, second round, are free of charge. Please hurry and book your tables now and come and celebrate our last day with us.”

The reason behind the closure is not clear, but loyal customers have expressed their disappointment at the news.
