Two people were treated for the effects of breathing in smoke following a fire in a garage this evening.
A man and woman were given oxygen therapy by firefighters, and were also treated by an ambulance crew after the fire.
Crews were called to the garage connected to a two-storey home London Road, Sittingbourne at around 6pm.
The fire is believed to have started in a washing machine, and crews wearing breathing apparatus put it out using a hose reel.
