A MAN has been remanded in custody after an attempted robbery at a Kent jewellers.
The incident took place at around 12.20pm on Thursday, December 7, at Topps Jewellers in High Street, Sittingbourne.
The offender allegedly tried to steal jewellery with an estimated value of £40,000.
Police say all the stolen goods were recovered.
A man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident. He has appeared before magistrates at Maidstone and was remanded in custody.
