Sixty football teams sign up for Harrison Staines memorial tournament at UKP sport ground, Sittingbourne

Sixty youth football teams have signed up for a five-a-side tournament in memory of Harrison Staines.

The eight-year-old died from leukaemia in 2001, but each year his former club, Park Regis, holds a match in his honour to raise money to help fight the disease.

The competition will take place at the UKP sport ground in Gore Court Road tomorrow. Registration is at 9am.

There will be a barbecue, cake and sweet stalls, a tombola, a bouncy castle and an ice cream van.

Proceeds from the day will go to the charity CLIC Sargent.
