Children's toy vehicles stolen from school

POLICE are appealing for information following the theft of toys from Lansdowne County Primary School in Sittingbourne.

The missing items, a range of expensive ‘RABO’ non-motorised children’s vehicles, were taken from a quad area in the centre of the school buildings.

One of the items, a two-seater yellow ‘taxi’ tricycle with a tubular steel frame and black wheels with yellow centres, has an estimated value of £250.

Each of the items are clearly marked with a red ‘RABO’ sticker.

It appears there was no damage to the school building itself and it is thought the items were taken via access from the roof.

Tyre marks from the toys were found on the canopy over the quad area and it is believed that two people would have been needed to get the property over the roof.

Police say the break-in happened on Wednesday, April 26.

Anyone who has been offered the items for sale or has any information is asked to ase contact Sittingbourne Police Station on 01795 419177.
