Holm Place Anglers staged their annual family fun day on Sunday.
As well as fishing with the club’s experts, youngsters enjoyed air rifle target shooting, a bouncy castle and fun-filled stalls.
There was also a tombola which helped raise the day’s takings to £540.
Proceeds will go towards Cancer Research UK and helping the club host development days in the community. Paula Russell, organiser of the weekend’s festivities off Queenborough Road, Halfway, said: “Due to the weather in the morning, crowd numbers were lower than expected.
“But everyone who did attend enjoyed themselves. I’d like to say thank-you to Mr and Mrs Lewis for allowing us to hold the event on the farm.
“Thanks also to KRD Tackle and Bait, friends, family, community and club members.”
