An effigy of Boris Johnson has gone up in flames this evening as part of Kent's most infamous bonfire night celebrations.
There had been rumours the former foreign secretary would appear at the event in Edenbridge to see the giant guy set on fire.
Now in its 90th year, the town's bonfire celebrations have become famous for their celebrity guys, which have includes Katie Price, Harvey Weinstein and President Donald Trump.
Edenbridge Bonfire Society chairman Bill Cummings said: "This year we have chosen the inimitable Boris Johnson as our celebrity guy, but I am sure you will agree that our artist, Andrea Deans, has captured his likeness very well.
"Our message to Mr Johnson is that you cannot have your cake and eat it.
"We hope Mr Johnson will appreciate the humour contained in our caricature and take it in the good spirit with which it is intended."
Over 800 people are expected to join the torch-lit parade through the High Street before enjoying the bonfire.
