Trivia champs are snapping up tickets for next month’s KM Big Charity Quiz.

But quiz fans still have time to secure a table at the Medway heat of the annual wine and wisdom style event being staged on Friday, March 11.

This year’s 10 anniversary event will be hosted by the St George Hotel, Chatham for the second year in a row.

As well as top raffle prizes - including a selection of the latest collectables from Hornby - quiz-goers have the chance to win a pair of Eurostar tickets on the night.

Participants will receive a drink on arrival and entry into a prize draw to win a P&O Ferries voucher plus a variety of snacks and a bottle of wine for each table.

A fully stocked charity bar, courtesy of Shepherd Neame, will be available with staff from Barclays serving the drinks.

Proceeds from the event, organised by the KM Group’s charity department, will go to the Medway Messenger newspaper’s charity of the year Medway Youth Trust and road safety services for children.

Event organiser Dominic Comins of the KM Charity Team said: “Barclays will match money raised pound for pound so please book a team and help us to make the most of their generosity and give local causes a record cash windfall.”

The KM Big Quiz is also supported by Specsavers and a table for up to eight participants costs £65. There’s a £10 discount on the price with the booking code MED16 making it less than £7 per person.
