Defender Joe Kane is in line to finish top scorer at Lordswood after grabbing another goal on Saturday.
Kane's winner at Tunbridge Wells took his tally for the season to 11 - not bad for a right-back.
He's one ahead of striker Ricky Gundry with two games of the Southern Counties East season remaining.
Gundry and the rest of Lordswood's forwards have been copping it from their team-mates following Kane's exploits.
Manager Richard Styles said: "There's a hell of a lot of banter flying about in the changing room.
"For a defender to have 11 goals is incredible, it really is.
"Only one of those goals has come from outside the box.
"He never practises shooting or finishing at training, he just has this knack of being in the right place at the right time.
"Maybe I should start playing him up front.
"If you spoke to him on his own he'd be very proud but in the changing room the strikers are getting a load of stick.
"He's been superb for us and full credit to him.
"He was great at both ends of the pitch on Saturday.
"He normally plays right-back but we played him at centre-half because Freeman Rogers was suspended."
Kane's efforts could be attracting interest but Styles is confident he will stay put.
The Lords boss added: "I'm sure he'll be getting attention because it's unusual for a defender to score so many goals.
"I've known him a long time across two spells at Lordswood - playing with him and managing him - and he enjoys it here.
"He's a boy that will stay and look to build on what he's done."
