Tourism project launch

Tournism leaders from Kent, Medway, Belgium, France and the Netherlands will launch a £4.2million project to boost collaboration between tourism authorities on both sides of the Channel.

It comes after a successful bid for funding from the European Union.

The aim is to develop new sites and re-vamp existing tourist attractions in all four countries.

The launch will take place at Commissioner’s House, The Historic Dockyard, Chatham, on Monday at noon.
