Two car crash in Hempstead Road, Gillingham

A fire crew had to free a man trapped in a car following a crash.

Two fire engines were called to the crash in Hempstead Road, Gillingham, just after 8am this morning (Tuesday, November 5).

They used hydraulic cutters, spreaders and other tools to remove a car door to free the man trapped inside.

He was then passed onto the care of the ambulance and taken to Medway Maritime Hospital.
