Invicta Dynamos head coach Kevin Parrish predicts forward Nolan Boike will go from strength-to-strength after netting five goals in a standout performance.

Boike (pictured) helped Invicta demolish Haringey Greyhounds 12-2 in ENIHL Division 1 South at Gillingham Ice Bowl on Sunday and Parrish says the American will be important to the Mos in a run of games that could define their season.

Despite missing Grant Baxter and Tim Smith, it took less than two minutes for Mos to open the scoring through Boike before Joe Johnston and Peter Vaisanen made it 3-0 at the end of the first quarter.

Andy Smith scored the fourth with a short-handed goal before the visitors reduced the deficit.

But a three-goal blitz inside 30 seconds ended the game as a contest with Elliot Andrews and a quickfire double from Boike.

Boike made it eight before efforts from Mark Williams, Vaisanen and Andrews made it 11-1 and despite a second consolation for the visitors, Boike rounded off the rout.

Parrish said: "I have been waiting for a performance like that from Nolan. He has found it tough the last couple of games but it takes time to adjust.

"He has only been here for a month and it takes time to get settled in a new country and get used to the league.

"It was nice to see him laying on chances for his team-mates as well as scoring himself. He’s settled in now and hopefully he will kick on from here."

On Sunday, Mos face Wightlink Raiders at home (5.15pm) looking to build on an 8-4 success on the Island earlier in the season.
