The force was called at around 10.30pm on April 24 to a report of a man seen in possession of a weapon.

An air weapon was seized from a property and a 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.

But following a number of enquiries, there was no evidence to suggest any offences had taken place and the suspect was released without charge.
