Clothing company Cotton Traders to open at Newnham Court Shopping Village in Maidstone

A new clothing store is opening in a shopping complex this weekend.

Cotton Traders will welcome customers to its new branch at Newnham Court Shopping Village, Maidstone.

To celebrate, it will be handing out £100 vouchers to the first three customers, as well as free gifts.

It will sell women’s clothing, including new collections from celebrity ambassadors and television presenters Jasmine Harman and Alex Jones.

The shop will also stock menswear including items promoted by actor Will Mellor who recently starred in the ITV drama, Mr Bates vs The Post Office.

South East area manager for Cotton Traders, Deborah Luck, said: “We are so pleased to be expanding our retail offering with our new store at Newnham Court Shopping Village and we anticipate that the site will be a hit with our loyal customer base.

“We pride ourselves on producing high-quality clothing that is both affordable and timeless and look forward to welcoming the local community to shop our latest collections.”

The store is in Unit 23 of the shopping complex.

Cotton Traders was founded in 1987 by former England rugby captains Fran Cotton and Steve Smith.

The British clothing company once had a store at the Notcutts complex but that shut.

The new branch will open on Saturday, April 20 in Newnham Court Shopping Village, off junction 7 of the M20.

A previous version of this article stated the new Cotton Traders shop would be moving into the unit housing Charterwood Mobility.

It has been brought to our attention that this was incorrect.

The Charterwood Mobility store is open and is located between Pennies Day Nursery and Newnham Court Inn.
