Firefighters were called to Grafty Green after a chimney fire.
The blaze started in a house in Liverton Hill just after 9.30pm, in a wood burning stove which had to be removed.
Crews used a special chimney kit and used thermal imaging to check that the fire was out.
They left the property shortly after midnight.
