Three fire and rescue units were called to Maidstone Hospital this morning following reports of a chemical spill.
Crews from Maidstone, Larkfield and an incident support unit from Medway were called to the Hermitage Lane hospital at around 9.45.
The nature of the spillage is not known, but no-one was evacuated and the area declared safe an hour later.
