The Ashes sports bar in Maidstone, biker attacked pub worker

A biker believed to be a Hells Angels member left a toilet attendant beaten and bruised after allegedly being caught snorting cocaine in a bar.

The serious assault, at The Ashes in Market Buildings, Maidstone, took place at around 1am on Saturday night.

A group of six suspected motorcycle club members, clad in jackets all with Hells Angels MC badges on them, were in the pub.

The Hells Angels is a worldwide biker club considered an organized crime syndicate by the United States Department of Justice.

A person in the bar at the time, who wishes to remain anonymous, said: "One of the bikers went into the toilet and the attendant caught him sniffing coke.

"The biker beat the living **** out of him and left him on the floor."

The member of staff was then taken to the Urban Blue Bus in Jubilee square to be treated for their injuries.

The attacker is also alleged to have used racist language towards his victim during the brutal attack.

According to a police report, the toilet attendant was punched repeatedly, suffering cuts and bruises to his face.

However, police declined to comment on whether the suspect was a biker.
