Witness appeal after M20 collision

Police investigating a collision on the M20 are appealing for witnesses.

The collision happened at around 1.30pm on Sunday near to junction 8 on the London-bound carriageway.

A blue Ford Ranger was reported to have driven off the road before colliding with a road sign.

Police officers attended, along with South East Coast Ambulance Service, and the driver of the vehicle was taken to a local hospital with injuries which are not believed to be serious.

Officers from the Roads Policing Unit are now asking anyone who saw the car travelling along the M20 before, during or after the collision to contact them.

Anyone who has dashcam footage that could assist the investigation is also asked to get in touch as soon as possible.

Witnesses are are urged to call Kent Police on 101 quoting 01-0611.
