Weather unlikely to affect Gills match

GROUNDSMAN Jonathan Eves is 95 per cent certain that Gillingham's home game against Bradford City on Saturday will be played, even though the Priestfield pitch is covered in snow.

He said: "The temperature is cold but to be honest the snow helps keep the pitch defrosted and keeps the warmth in."

He stressed: "The last thing we want to do is remove the snow."
