Third defeat on the bounce for Lillywhites

Bromley slipped to 12th in the Blue Square South table after this defeat

Worcester 1 Bromley 0

Bromley drew their third successive blank as they suffered another Blue Square South defeat at Worcester on Saturday.

The only goal of the game came seven minutes before the break when a half-cleared corner fell to Greg Walker on the edge of the box and he sent a low shot beyond Gareth Williams in the Lillywhites goal.

The visitors enjoyed plenty of possession but again lacked a cutting edge up front and failed to seriously test Worcester keeper Danny McDonnell.

Ashley-Paul Robinson had one effort comfortably saved in the second half and when McDonnell seemed to lose the flight of the ball it just failed to fall to Warren McBean.

Worcester, who could have added to their advantage, leap-frogged their opponents after this result. Mark Goldberg's side slipped to 12th.
