TAKALOO: set for big night in Cardiff

KENT fighter Takaloo will put his WBU light middleweight title on the line during what is shaping up to be a night of high quality boxing in Cardiff on Saturday, December 6.

The show is being dubbed the “Three Kings” because three world champions will be defending their titles at the Cardiff Ice Rink.

Joe Calzaghe’s defence of the WBO Super-Middleweight title will top the bill while Enzo Maccarinelli defends the WBU cruiserweight crown.

Takaloo, from Margate, who won the title against Jim Rock and then defended it against Jose Rosa Gomez at York Hall in May, is still awaiting confirmation about who his opponent will be.

His last outing was a non-title fight against Wladimir Borovski in Newport which he won with a third round knock-out.
