Gillingham manager Mark Stimson believes striker Simeon Jackson can go onto become one of the club’s greats.
Jackson scored twice in the 2-1 victory over Luton at Priestfield on Tuesday night.
Stimson said: “He hasn’t hit the net as much as he would have liked but his head has never dropped.
"That’s a sign of a good pro because if you ask all the strikers they’ll tell you, don’t be embarrassed about missing, be embarrassed about not getting in the box.
"The more he goes in there his tally will rise and I’m sure he will go in Gillingham folklore as being a very good striker.”
