KNEE INJURY: Hermann Hreidarsson

Norwich City v Charlton

CHARLTON are set to be without influential defender Hermann Hreidarsson for the trip to Norwich on Saturday.

Hreidarsson picked up a knee injury during the 0-0 draw at Aston Villa on Wednesday and is unlikely to recover in time.

Paul Konchesky is certainly out through suspension, although Luke Young may return to the starting line-up after recovering from a calf injury that has caused him to miss the Addicks' last two matches.

Charlton boss Alan Curbishley has issued a warning to his players ahead of the match to improve on recent form which has seen the side slip away in March yet again.

He said: "Those who believe we're happy to drop away couldn't be more wrong because every position is vital."
