Gills behind at the break

Gillingham 0 Tranmere Rovers 1

GILLINGHAM have gone in at half-time at Priestfield trailing 1-0 to Tranmere.

The visitors took the lead in the 19th minute when a fine move involving Chris Greenacre and Chris Shuker ended with Greenacre heading clinically past Gills keeper Simon Royce.

The home side - who are still looking for their first goal of the season - have rarely threatened, although striker David Graham clipped the bar with a close range effort from Aaron Brown's corner.

Gillingham: Royce, Southall, Cox, King, Armstrong, Bentley, Lomas, Crofts, Brown, Facey, Graham.
Subs: Stillie, Clohessy, Cogan, Pugh, Stone.
