WELLING manager Andy Ford has bolstered his squad with two new signings - and a third is expected to follow shortly.
Ford has completed the signings of striker Amos Foyewa from AFC Hornchurch and midfielder Ohran Stewart.
Both players are former West Ham trainees but have since drifted around the non-league scene. Foyewa has played for Woking and Lewes while Stewart played in the same Beckenham side as Ellis Green and has also featured for Dulwich and Walton & Hersham in recent seasons.
Ford said: "I remember Amos from when he played for Woking (against Gravesend) and he will offer us something different up front.
"He would have played against Newport, or at the very least been on the bench.
"I felt I needed to add to the squad and I'm hoping to have signed a third player before the weekend."
Ford has confirmed one departure, defender Francis Duku, who has moved to Ryman League, Premier Division Staines.
Duku only played twice for the Wings but was unable to agree terms with Ford.
"I offered him something but he decided not to take it," said Ford.
