GILLINGHAM manager Ronnie Jepson will have a considerably bigger playing budget for next season.

However, supporters are expected to have to foot the bill through increased season ticket prices and matchday tickets with chairman Paul Scally targeting promotion.

He has justified this proposed increase with the promise of every home game being like a cup final as the Gills target a return to the Championship.

Prices for next season are set to be released soon with Mr Scally currently finalising the pricing structure.

He said: "Last season they were ridiculously cheap. The incentive to buy them is that every pound raised is invested in the running of the team.
