Young biker dies in 3-vehicle smash

KENT police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist in his 20s was killed in a collision also involving two cars.

The crash happened on the A21 between Lamberhurst and Pembury on Sunday at about 10.15am. A police spokeswoman said the victim lived locally. He has not yet been named.

The male driver of one of the cars was treated at the scene for minor injuries. The cars involved were a Honda Civic and a Mazda 626.

Part of the A21 was closed for around five hours while police crash investigators sought clues to the cause of the crash.
