'White car' man hunted after alleyway robbery

A 19-year-old man was forced to hand over his mobile phone when he was approached by a thug in an alleyway.

The victim was walking between Crossways Boulavard and Steele Avenue, Greenhithe, near Dartford, when the offender got out of a white car and walked towards him.

The thug asked for the victim’s phone before trying to hit him with a baton. The victim then handed over his silver Samsung phone.

The offender got back into the white car which was driven away towards Asda. The incident occurred on March 8 at around 7.30pm.

The man police are hunting is described as a white man aged between 20 and 25, 5ft 8in tall and of stocky build. He was wearing a red hooded top, dark tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.
