The tolls at the Dartford Crossing have been suspended in one direction as queues build up into Essex.

Jams tailing back from the M25 anticlockwise at the A282 for the toll booths have led to queues of around 45 minutes.

The tolls have been suspended for anti-clockwise traffic only to ease congestion. Those travelling into Kent will still have to pay.
