SHEERNESS is due to get a new supermarket by early autumn next year, it has been confirmed.
Sheerness town centre manager Alan Ogilvie said that the German group Aldi was due to start building its store on a site adjoining Millennium Way early in the new year.
He added: "Aldi are hoping to have it built by August or September."
