A motorcyclist was involved in a crash on the busy A299 Thanet Way during Wednesday evening's rush hour.
The London-bound carriageway was partially blocked by the crash, which happened around 500 yards after the Chestfield Tunnel at around 5pm.
The road had fully reopened and queues had started to ease by 5.45pm.
It is not yet known whether the motorcyclist was injured or whether any other vehicles were involved.
