Man cautioned for pigeon shooting

A thirty-eight-year-old old man has been cautioned for being in possession of a firearm in a public place.

Police were called to Jackson’s Field, Rochester, on Sunday, March 1, following reports from the public that a man was shooting pigeons with an air rifle.

The man was arrested for being in possession of a firearm in public and later released from police custody with a caution.
