Lorry fire causes Dartford Crossing delays

A lorry fire at the Dartford Crossing has led to rush-hour tailbacks on the M25 this morning.

The incident, between junctions 2 and 1a anticlockwise, closed two lanes.

Fire crews from Dartford were called just after 7am and spent about 40 minutes at the scene.

Normal traffic conditions are expected to resume at about 10am.
