A convicted murderer is due in court this morning charged with absconding from prison.
Jane Andrews, a former aide to the Duchess of York, is facing charges of going missing from East Sutton Park Prison, near Maidstone, last November.
She was moved to the open prison after serving eight and a half years for the murder of her boyfriend, Tom Cressman, in 2001, after he refused to marry her.
She was due to appear before Maidstone magistrates.
