An air accident investigation is under way after a light plane crashed in east Kent on Monday.

The single engine plane came down in a field at Hastingleigh.

Two people were taken to hospital with injuries described as not life-threatening.

The plane was reported to be on its way from Southend, Essex, to Shoreham, Sussex
