Gillingham manager Andy Hessenthaler has named a strong squad for trip to Aldershot for Tuesday’s Combination League fixture.

Mark McCammon, Dennis Oli (pictured) and Stanley Aborah have all been named in the starting eleven as they look to improve their match sharpness following injuries.

Hessenthaler has also included Kevin Maher, Connor Essam and Luke Rooney in the squad, players he is keen to send out on loan to gain first team action.

On the bench for the Gills is former Spurs reserve defender Takura Mtandari, who has previously been on trial at Lincoln, Norwich and Crystal Palace.

First team coach Nicky Southall is included in the starting eleven, while first team striker Stefan Payne also starts.

New signing Bruce Inkango is not included as his international clearance had not arrived in time.

Gills: Hawkes, Southall, Evans, Davies, Essam, Maher, Rooney, Aborah, McCammon, Oli, S Payne. Subs: White, Brown, Brunt, Mtandari, Fisher.
