Fire crews kept busy by car fires in Chatham

Medway fire fighters were called out to two car fires, thought to have been started deliberately, in Chatham on Thursday night.

The two cars were reported to Kent Fire and Rescue Service within 45 minutes of one another, starting at around 9.30pm that night.

Both were found in the Magpie Hall Road area.

A spokesman for Medway fire fighters said police 'may well be linking them.’

Police have yet to comment.
