Female driver freed from car wreckage

A WOMAN had to be cut free from the wreckage of her car after being involved in an accident with a tractor on Monday.

Police were called to the scene of the crash on the A262 at Sissinghurst, at the entrance to Sissinghurst Castle, just after 1.10pm.

The road was closed briefly while the woman was rescued. She was taken to Kent and Sussex Hospital with minor injuries.
