Ewe must be kidding - real life ram raider strikes

Sorry, this video asset has been removed.

This is the baa-zarre moment a real life ram
raider was caught on CCTV running amok in a showroom –
with a crow in tow.

Cameras captured the surreal attack, in which three huge panes
of glass were smashed.

It happened in the reception area of bathroom store
Claygate Distribution, in Marden.

When its owner arrived on Sunday morning it looked like the shop
had been the victim of a cat burglar.

But the footage revealed a very different beast had been at
work.

It showed a ram, which had escaped from a neighbouring field,
hurling itself at the windows after being startled by its
reflection.

And if that wasn’t startling enough, earlier footage
revealed the feathered accomplice pecking open a gate.

The criminally-minded crow allowing the ram and a flock of
sheep to wander towards the car park and go on the rampage.

Store owner Mel Streek said police needed some convincing that
it wasn't a shaggy dog story.

“They didn’t believe us and we have had to send them the CCTV
footage. Had I not seen the footage, I would not have believed it
either," he said.

“Filling out the insurance claim form is going to be
interesting.”

Staff saw the funny side after finding out they had been victims
of a gang of woolly bullies.

Kim Whitmore, the company’s commercial director, said: “Nobody
could believe what they were seeing. We couldn’t stop laughing.

“It’s amazing. The crow pecked at the latch until it opened and
then flapped its wings and hopped further along the fence.

"It seemed to know what it was doing."

The company allows a neighbouring farmer to store his animals on
the fields, and the ram has now become something of a
celebrity.

Kim said: “We haven’t thought of names for them yet, but

it’s likely to be something unprintable.”
