A PEDESTRIAN died after being struck by a furniture removal lorry on the Hamstreet bypass, near Ashford, early on Friday morning.
Police have appealed for any witnesses to the 6.39am incident, particularly the driver of a dark-coloured VW Golf, which overtook the lorry at the time and had to take avoiding action when the lorry swerved.
The name of the man who died is not being released until relatives have been told.
