Teenager charged with burglary

A teenager is to face magistrates in November after being charged in connection with a house burglary in Swanscombe.

Police were investigating reports of a burglary at a property in Ames Road on July 22.

It was reported a Yamaha motorbike, a Playstation 3 and a purse had been stolen.

Officers arrested a teenager in connection with the incident after a passport was used at Heathrow airport.

A 16 year old boy from Swanscombe was charged with taking a motor vehicle without the owner's consent, burglary dwelling and cultivation of cannabis.

He has been bailed to appear at Medway Youth Court on November 19.
