Motorcyclist from Gravesend who failed to stop for police is in custody after being arrested in Woodlands Park

A motorcyclist who failed to stop for police when requested was caught as he tried to escape through a park

The incident in the early hours of this morning saw the 22-year-old from Gravesend arrested for failing to stop for police, handling stolen goods and driving without a licence or insurance.

He was caught in Woodlands Park, off Dashwood Road, at 1.20am and remains in custody.

Officers from the Roads Policing Unit also dealt with a vehicle that had been stolen from Bedfordshire and was located on the A2.

It was followed from Kent into Essex where it was tactically stopped.

Four men were arrested.
