Air ambulance called to field in Gravesend near Kings Farm Primary School

An air ambulance has been spotted landing in a sports field near a school.

The emergency chopper was pictured at Kings Farm field in Gravesend at around 2pm.

Wayne Lock captured the moment the air ambulance was hovering over the grass near Kings Farm Primary School before it left the scene.

It's believed to be on its way to Darenth Valley Hospital in Dartford.

Kent Police confirmed they weren't called to the incident.

While Kings Farm Primary School is found next to the field.

A spokesman for the school said the emergency call was nothing to do with them.

South East Coast Ambulance Service spokesman Rich Airey said: "The air ambulance landed to assist us with a call to a nearby private address."

KSS air ambulance have been contacted for more information.
