TOP goalscorer Allan Tait added to his growing reputation with a second half hat-trick as Folkestone moved off the bottom of the Dr Martens League, Premier Division, table with a resounding win.

Watched by Football League scouts, 21-year-old Tait took his tally to 15 for the season to keep him in the hunt for the Premier Division's Golden Boot award.

It was an uplifting afternoon for Invicta and they opened the scoring after 51 minutes, thanks to a Paul Chambers penalty. The spot kick had been awarded when Tait ran at the Hednesford defence before going down under challenge from Darren Simkin.

Invicta's lead did not last long as Mark Jones equalised after 53 minutes with a good shot on the turn which flew into the net across goal.

Tait restored Invicta's lead after 63 minutes when he was there to convert striking partner James Dryden's low cross from the left following a good ball forward from Dan Larkin. Tait struck again after 67 minutes when he latched onto a John Ayling through ball, went round goalkeeper Bingham and found the net from a tight angle.

The blond striker completed his first hat-trick for the club after 79 minutes when he again went round Bingham to score from another narrow angle after Everitt had played him in.
