Emergency services rushed to Stembrook Court, Dover, after woman jumped from third floor window to ledge

Emergency services rushed to a block of flats in Dover after a woman in her 50s jumped from a third floor window onto a ledge.

Kent Fire and Rescue (KFRS) got to Stembrook Court just after 11pm last night where a seven metre ladder and a height vehicle was used.

A spokesman said firefighters were there until gone 1am.

A spokesman for the police said: "She did not appear to have been injured."

Rich Airey, the press spokesman for Secamb, said: "We assisted the woman at the scene but she declined hospital treatment."
