Lamb births witnessed during lambing weekend at Broadlees Farm, Dover

Newborn lambs, delivered on Saturday, were the delight of families visiting Broadlees Farm.

A staggering 52 sets of triplets have been born at the family-run and working farm on the A258 near Dover Castle.

Owner Liz Phillips said: “We time our lambing so families can see them being born."

She added: “Our feedback is that it’s absolutely lovely. We don’t have any other attractions, all they want to do is come and get back to nature. We keep it as a working farm and that’s what families want.”

Entry is £5 for adults and £4 for children and pensioners. Some proceeds go to the NSPCC.
