KENT's Karen Stupples finished joint eighth in the Samsung World Championship at Palm Desert in California.
The British Open champion was lying joint second after the second round but eventually finished on eight under par 280, 10 shots behind the winner, Sweden’s Annika Sorenstam.
Stupples, who comes from Deal, won $23,000 in the competition.
