Lost monkey soft toy found in Dartford supermarket car park

The search is on to reunite a cuddly monkey with its owner after it was spotted hanging around a supermarket car park.

Lorna Midlane had just finished shopping at Aldi at The Orchards Shopping Centre when she saw the soft toy on the floor.

Rather than leaving the plush primate to suffer a tragic end, Lorna picked it up and took to social media to spread the word.

She said: "We were just shopping in Aldi and I saw him on the floor. It looked like it had been dropped out of a car.

"It will be nice to be able to bring him home. But if no one claims him he will have a good home with my grandchildren."

The news was shared on the Dartford Past, Present, and Future Facebook group where members have been sharing the picture with their friends.
