A burglar posed as a police officer so he could search a pensioner's home.
The suspect entered the property in Fulwich Road, Dartford, and told the victim, a woman in her 80s, that he was law enforcement.
He then rifled through her home before leaving through the front door.
Nothing is thought to have been stolen.
The incident happened at around 9pm on Tuesday, January 9, and police have now released an e-fit of the suspect.
He is white, aged in his 40s, of medium build, 6ft, and was dressed in black with a black woolly hat.
